Who We Support

The Go Commando Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k is proud to support several local charities:

Our commitment to the YMCA supports the center’s Annual Giving Campaign. All monies raised will continue to provide assistance to the YMCA’s key initiatives such as:

YMCA Restore Ministry
Restore Ministries is the YMCA’s Christ-centered healing ministry. It provides the hope and healing people need to overcome some of life’s toughest issues. There are eight courses offered throughout the year, with small groups and individual counseling. All sessions are safe and confidential, with a licensed counselor. To learn more call 931-647-2376 or visit www.ymcamidtn.org.

YMCA ABC Outreach Program
ABC offers breast cancer survivors a free 16-week program to help them continue to heal. Participants do not have to be a member of the YMCA to participate in the free program. Participants receive: customized workout programs by a Pink Ribbon Certified Trainer, nutrition counseling, access to a lymphedema specialist, free membership to the YMCA for 16 weeks. Monthly educational seminars are also offered, addressing both the educational and physical aspects of recovery. For more information call 931-647-2376 or visit www.ymcamidtn.org.
